Susan Goodman began her career with Goodman Insurance in 1993 when she became treasurer. After the death of her husband James Goodman, Susan took over the roll of President of Goodman Insurance in 2014.

Susan lives in Shelton with her two children. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with nieces and nephews and cooking for her family.

Joe serves as Vice President of Goodman Insurance, President of Associated Insurance Agencies Inc. He leads the Commercial Insurance operations of the agency.

Joe has been active in the insurance community serving on the Professional Insurance Agents board of directors, the agents counsels of numerous insurance companies as well as serving on the boards of a number of volunteer non-profit organizations.

Joe Bishop is a graduate of the Whittmore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. He entered the insurance business in 1987.

Joe is a past President of the Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals and the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut. He dedicates his career to assisting businesses and families with insurance.

Born into the business, Chris has always aspired to carry on his father’s and grandfather’s legacy of serving the Shelton and surrounding community for all their Property & Casualty insurance needs. A lifelong resident of Shelton, Chris graduated Shelton High School in 2017 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) in 2021, to better help him prepare for his role as the future President of Goodman Insurance.

Focusing on a relationship, educational approach to insurance, Chris helps Homeowners and Businessowners of all types and sizes navigate their way through the insurance marketplace and find the carrier to match that client’s particular needs to protect their assets.

To better help Chris prepare for his role, he holds the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) and Personal Lines Coverage Specialist (PLCS) designations.

Tom Goodman, a graduate of West Haven High School in 2002, brings a unique perspective to his role in his family’s insurance business, drawing from his decades of experience as a firefighter. His career in public service has equipped him with a set of skills that have enabled him to be an elite problem solver and client advocate.

Tom’s ability to analyze complex situations and make quick, informed decisions, honed in emergency response scenarios, now serves his client’s insurance needs and where he can provide a unique skillset to find superior insurance solutions.

Clarissa Carmona, CLCS, started her career in insurance over a decade ago and specializes in Commercial Insurance.

She joined the team at Goodman Insurance, Inc. in 2021 as a Commercial Lines Manager. She obtained the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist Designation (CLCS) in 2016 and has experience working with a variety of business categories and sizes.

Though a native of New York, she now enjoys living in Danbury with her family and pets with an added passion for singing whenever or wherever possible.

Jami is the Office Manager and also manages the personal line client’s. Jami began her insurance career with Goodman Insurance in 2007. She earned her CISR designation in 2012. Jami has also been awarded the Outstanding Customer Service Representative award for the state of Connecticut three times.

In her free time, Jami enjoys spending time with her husband of 32 years, her three daughters and her granddaughters.

David is a native of Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School in 2017. David recently obtained his P&C license and has joined the team at the agency. He is working as an Account Executive and a Customer Service Representative. He is the grandson of Arnold Goodman and has ambitions of having a positive impact on the family business.
